As you may know, my sister Kathy's six year-old daughter, Marli, was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL) in June of 2005. After a 3-year long treatment, Marli is currently in remission and attending 1st GRADE!!!
On Saturday, October 11, 2008, our family will be walking in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night® Walk to raise funds to help fight cancer. The Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services.

That is so wonderful that you guys are participating in the walk. I have heard a little about ALL over the years because Patrick and I have supported St. Jude Research Hospital for many yrs. I am so happy she is in remission! God bless her!
