DOES SHE LOOK HAPPY OR WHAT?

Here are the pictures from the National Guard Armory from last week when TJ came home. I tried to get pictures of all the Veterans on the Harley's that were escorting the soldiers. Sorry about the blurry pictures, hopefully mom got better ones:

Here is the latest set of pictures of Dylan. These are from the Boat Show... see us with Uncle Mike and Reggie Fountain (the owner of 'Fountain' power boats). Also, some pics of Dylan around the house. I FINALLY got some of his 'BIG GRIN' and so I'm happy to share these:

BIG SMILES

We have so many reasons to smile lately :)
TJ is back and we really love havinG him around! I think Roxy is the most happy... she has been slightly neglected lately (I can't imagine why?) TJ is soo happy to be back and he is currently house hunting and that is always fun... if you ask me.

Steven says HI to all.
OK, so Dylan... or D-Love or D-Money (thanks to Aunt Amy for the new nicknames) is doing great today... yesterday or I should say last night he was super upset. He wouldn't eat and just screamed. I finally gave up trying to feed him and gave him a bath and put him in his crib... and he fell fast asleep. I guess he was just tired. Who knew? OK, so I don't know why HE is so tired?!?! He's been great tonight and I'm just DYING to hear him laugh; he seems like he's all set for it, so any day now D-Man! I took this picture of Dylan last night before he went into unhappy mode.
Man, is he cute or what?

Guess who moved in?

UNCLE TJ IS BACK!!

We are all so excited that he is back and even more excited that he'll be staying with us for awhile. Dylan, Rebecca, Peepo and Rebecca's mom and brothers were all there to greet him. The soldiers came rolling-in escorted by a very large group of harley-riding veterans. We are super thankful that he is back and that this tour is over. I'll post pictures once I download them off of my camera.

Dylan is really coming into his own now. He is so pleasant and content. He loves to look around and has been making a lot of cooing and ahhing noises. He tries so hard to talk. He loves to smile... especially at his cousins Kaleigh and Connor. Aunt Amy says he's perfect and I agree.

We have a big weekend coming up. We are going to visit my Uncle Mike and Aunt Janeen's new house on Tilghman Island and we also are going to Rockville to participate in the Light The Night walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. Kathy has been working very hard and our team, Marli Counts, has raised over 12K so far! Marli had he FINAL chemo the first week of October!

OK, more later... or sometime this weekend!

Well NOW I've done it...

I've gone and told people about the blog, so I guess I have to be better about updating it.

Let's see, Dylan is two months old now, 11 weeks and a few days. He is generally sleeping thru the night, but last night he got up at 2am. He is doing such a great job of holding his little head up and he loves to look around at everything. I gave him his first vitamin drops this morning... I gotta say it looked and tasted kinda gross... I tried it myself. Dylan was curious, but I could tell it wasn't very tasty to him; he made a funny face. Not at all like when he had the tylenol... he LOVED that stuff! Speaking of... he got tylenol for the first time after he got his 2 month vaccinations. He got 3 shots in the leg and one orally. Umm, he cried and it was sooo sad and then he was pretty fussy over that weekend, but who could blame him?

This past weekend, Dylan met his Uncle Mike for the first time... Dylan was thrilled! They hung out on the couch together smiling all goofy at each other. Dylan loves Uncle Mike and already misses him. He can't wait to meet his Aunt Debbie! Speaking of family... you should have seen Dylan smiling at Pop when we visited Grammies. Pop was asking him if he wanted to stay there and live with him and he just smiled and smiled. I think Pop really enjoyed this visit.

This weekend I tried putting him in his jumperoo. He hasn't figured it out yet, but I predict when he does; he will be a bouncing fool. For now, he seems pretty content when in his swing or laying on his playgym or sitting and watching mommy and daddy making funny faces at him to get him to smile... which he does all the time. Of course he LOVES to eat and when not eating he sucks on his fist and drools like a mad man. I love it all!

October 1st... a day of FIRSTs.

We had a great weekend. I got my "push present" from Tiffany's... it's a beautiful necklace! We went to Nanny's 80th birthday party too and Dylan got to meet the rest of my mom's side of the family.

Today, Dylan smiled at me before I took him out of his crib in the morning. Usually he is just crying and oh so ready to be fed, but today he smiled ;) Also, he wore pants today. Brown ones with his brown and white striped onsie from babygap.

OK, well a month and a half after creating the blog and I finally got an entry in. Yay Me!
